South Florida brokerage activity is shifting — here’s where the deals are

The South Florida power yacht market in 2026 isn’t one market — it’s three, and they’re moving in different directions.

What we’re seeing on the ground

Active inventory in the mid-tier ($200K–$500K range) feels thinner than it did a year ago. The boats that hit the brokerage market under $500K in 2024 and 2025 mostly moved inside 60 days. What’s left tends to be either overpriced or harder cases — older hulls, deferred maintenance, or odd-spec boats.

Above $1M, inventory is healthier. That segment is moving slower, and patient buyers can find leverage.

By segment

Express cruisers (38’–55′): Strong demand. Sea Ray Sundancer, Formula PC, and Cruisers Yachts hulls under 10 years old are moving fastest. Inventory turns within 6–8 weeks on properly-priced examples.

Flybridge motor yachts (45’–65′): Mainship 47s and Jefferson 52s are seeing repeat-buyer interest from Loop-minded owners. Pricing has held firm in the $180K–$250K range.

High-performance / center consoles: Slower turnover above 35′. Buyers are more price-sensitive after the 2022–2023 peak.

European builds (Pershing, Fairline, Princess): Mixed signals. One 2007 Pershing 63 listing drew four separate buyer inquiries inside a month — strong cohort interest for that specific hull and vintage.

What it means

If you’re buying: this is a better market than it has been in 18 months for sellers who priced realistically. If you’re selling: don’t overprice. Days-on-market over 90 is now a meaningful warning sign.
